How to Prevent intergranular corrosion in a stainless steel welding?

Intergranular corrosion often occurs during the welding of stainless steel. Due to this material can be failed during services. There are basically three methods through which we can prevent intergranular corrosion:- 1. Use low carbon grade such 304L, 316L, stainless steel weld. 2. Use stabilize grade alloyed such as titanium(for example- 321) or niobium(for example- 347). Titanium and niobium are strong carbide formers. 3. Use post- weld heat treatment.
