Today most of the core engineering graduate aspirants want to work in a steel industries. Branches like mechanical, metallurgical, electrical, electronics engineering etc can get a job in steel sectors. Some of iron and steel plants like SAIL, RINL, HEC etc conduct their own exams or otherwise they took recruitment through IIT Gate score card. In private sectors plants like Tata steel, JSW, Bhushan, Essar steel etc they recruit students from top institutions like IITs, NITs, BITs etc. in some case they conduct their own exams like Tata steel conduct AET.
